Sumi
Ink and Steel
Action-adventure 2D samurai brawler, late-Edo woodblock.
A side-on action-adventure brawler set at the violent end of ukiyo-e — flat indigo and vermillion, gouged linework, paper grain. You play Masayoshi through data-driven chapters against tattooed brawlers. It ships with a room-based level editor, and levels you build can be published and played by other people.
Imbue the blade
Hold the element modifier and pick a number to charge the katana with one of seven elements — fire, ice, wind, lightning, earth, water, shadow. Each spends meter, runs on a timer, and changes what the same attack does: fire adds a burst around you, ice slows what it touches, wind launches, lightning chains, earth breaks armour. Enemies carry weaknesses, and the HUD marks the readout when the element you are holding is the one that hurts the enemy in front of you. So the fight is a resource question, not a mash — you are deciding which six seconds to spend.
Gamepad works. Touch controls appear on mobile. The level editor and community levels are linked from the top of the game screen.
